North Fork Ranch Guide Service
offers personalized shotgun and hunting lessons at Quail Run Sporting Clays and
Hunting Preserve. Offering the shotgun enthusiast and upland hunter a
high quality and challenging experience. Quail Run offers a 20 station Sporting
Clays range, 5 Stand, Skeet and Trap shooting for the shotgun enthusiast. For
the upland bird hunter we offer 3 hunting fields as
well as 2 dog-training areas. In addition, we have a 20 station archery course
with 3-D targets.
Kevin is a
the Trap, Skeet and
Sporting Clays instructor for Quail Run. He is certified through the
National Sporting Clays Association and has been with Quail Run for three years.
If you want to learn how to play the game of sporting clays, improve your bird
count in the field, or simply improve your shooting skills, Kevin can assist
you. (Ammunition and targets are not included in your lesson.)
Kevin will also work with you and your dog on live birds in the field. The
purpose of this lesson is to watch how you and your dog work together, to
critique your shooting style and help you improve your bird count. (Live birds
not included.)
For a truly unique experience, Kevin offers a multi-day Cast n' Blast package
which includes a day of fishing at North Fork Ranch, overnight lodging and

Quail Run Sporting Clays and Hunting Preserve is located in Kiowa, Colorado,
just a few miles east of the town of Elizabeth off of Highway 86 and County Road
27. The terrain at Quail Run includes Cottonwood filled creek
bottoms where heavy thickets and willows are the norm, or more traditional field
hunting areas planted in milo, millet, corn, sunflowers and oats.
Private Instruction:
